God’s Pleasure at Work

How a biblical worldview invigorates the workplace, renews the community and transforms culture

"I urge you to set aside both days it requires to attend this course…You will be glad you participated. Don’t miss this.”
Chuck Colson, Founder, Prison Fellowship Ministry

"...a terrific presentation, great graphics and profound ideas."
Dr. Al Erisman, Executive Director and Co-founder, Center for Integrity in Business, Seattle Pacific University

God’s Pleasure At Work is a compelling survey of the biblical approach to work-life, presented through colorful PowerPoint slides and video illustrations mixed with stimulating small-group discussions that inspire and equip followers of Christ to integrate their faith with their work, in any setting.

The GPAW course is based upon the premise that God does His work through carpenters, cops and CEOs. For a follower of Christ, there’s no such thing as “secular work.” As the English Puritan George Swinnock once said, “…his shop as well as his chapel is holy ground.” Participants in the GPAW course leave with practical tools to make this a reality.

The complete GPAW course is approximately 14 hours in length, including built-in discussion time. It may be done in a 10-12 week period, or in a 2-day format. Organizations desiring a 1-day event may elect to go through Part 1 only. Be forewarned, however: People going through Part 1 don’t want to quit.

An outline of the complete course is on the“Course Content” page.

An example of a community-wide GPAW event incorporating a Community Showcase is shown on the“bellevue_eventt” page.
